The VI All-Russian Olympiad for counselors will start on February 25, the press service of the GAUK “Mosgortur” reports.
The All-Russian Olympiad for counselors consists of several stages. At the first stage, which will last until March 9, participants must pass an online test. Those counselors who score from 25 points out of 30 possible will have access to the next correspondence assignment – the analysis of pedagogical situations. The names of the finalists will be published on March 31, after which they will pass the face-to-face stage in the Raduga camp near Moscow.
“Counselors are responsible not only for the entertainment and education of children, but also for their life and health. The Olympics will allow every counselor who will go to work on a shift in the Crimea, Kaliningrad or Primorye to test himself and understand what knowledge and skills he needs to improve before summer. We will invite those who successfully pass the absentee stage to Moscow with travel and accommodation fees to participate in the final of the counselors’ Olympiad, at which the winners of the competition will be determined, ”said Inna Golubeva, general director of Mosgortur.
The organizer of the Olympiad is Mosgortur with the support of the Moscow Department of Culture.

For Russian schoolchildren, the Romanian Master of Mathematics is one of the elements of preparing the national team for the 61st International Mathematical Olympiad, which will be held in St. Petersburg from 8 to 18 July 2020.
Children were prepared for the competition by the mathematics teacher of the Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 239 in St. Petersburg Kirill Sukhov, associate professor at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology Pavel Kozhevnikov and analyst at the Center for Pedagogical Excellence Alexander Antropov.

The international Romanian Master of Mathematics Olympiad is held annually in Bucharest (Romania). The competition was first held in 2008.
Schoolchildren from different countries take part in the Olympiad. According to the competition regulations, they perform individual tasks for two days. In each of the rounds it is necessary to solve three tasks in 4.5 hours. Winners are determined in individual and team events.
The official language of the competition is English, but the participants receive tasks in their native language.
The final of the Olympiad of the Circle Movement of the National Technology Initiative for schoolchildren in one of its most popular profiles – Information Security, has finished at the Sirius Educational Center in Sochi, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation reports.
The finalists successfully coped with the main task of the Olympiad – ensuring the security of the smart home from hacker attacks. Working in teams, the students had to identify and eliminate viral infection of the network of “smart devices”, find vulnerabilities and offer protection against similar attacks in the future. The task was developed by specialists from Rostelecom-Solar and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (NRNU MEPhI).
The “Information Security” profile became the most popular at the Olympiad – the competition was 76 people per seat. 72 participants reached the final, including four girls. Most of the winners are from Moscow; schoolchildren from Novosibirsk, Krasnodar, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Kazan and the Moscow region also showed high results. The team with the best result:

The NTI Circle Movement Olympiad competitions are held in 13 cities from February 5 to April 18. In the 2019/20 academic year, the Olympiad unites 30 engineering areas, more than 80 thousand students from 85 regions of Russia have applied for participation.
Winning in 16 directions within the main track for students in grades 8-11 will bring prospective applicants 100 USE points in one of the core subjects and will give them the opportunity to enter the leading technical universities in Russia.

This year, more than 3 thousand assignments were added to it in all 14 academic subjects, which are submitted in the form of the Unified State Exam. The open bank of USE assignments was created in 2013 so that schoolchildren could practice solving assignments similar to those that may occur on the exam.
